R.J. Moore is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Tullahoma, TN who attends Tullahoma HS. Large thick strong build. Tall delivery, stays balanced, quick compact arm action, tight 3/4's release point, good arm speed, pretty low effort release. Three solid present pitches. Mid 80's fastball topped out at 86 mph, good arm side running action when down in the zone. Nice feel for a change up, maintains arm speed and gets good late life. Curveball has tight spin and good 11/5 shape. Around the strike zone with all pitches and has the arsenal to mix effectively. Right handed hitter, upright stance with high hands, leg kick trigger with late foot getting down, has strength for power with a better front side. Solid defensive actions at first base with some agility. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team for this showcase.
