Kyle Tyler is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Oklahoma City, OK who attends Westmoore HS. Medium athletic build with some present strength, young look. Very long and loose arm action, whippy coming through, high 3/4's arm slot, tends to land open out front and occasionally lose direction, some effort at release. Fastball topped out at 89 mph, mostly straight and thrown for strikes low in the zone. Change up best present pitch, maintains arm speed and release point well with good feel for location. Soft curveball with occasional 11/5 depth. Mixes his pitches well and pounds the zone low and gets quick outs. Polished pitcher with some projection physically. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Oklahoma.
