Drew Donathan is a 2017 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Charlotte Christian. Strong athletic build with room to fill out and add strength. Right handed hitter who hits from a slightly open stance with a wide base. Deep hand load to start, shows good bat speed through hitting zone. Stays short to ball with a line drive swing plane and contact to all fields. Ball will jump and carry. Has tools to develop. Defensively, primary catcher, has good arm strength and relies on it, pop time will improve with a little quicker transfer. Has quick feet to work with and gains ground. Tools are there to develop behind plate. Good Student.
