Denzel Coley is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Winder, GA who attends George Walton Academy. Broad shouldered athletic build, good present strength. Right handed hitter, narrow upright stance, leg raise/hand drop trigger, timing is late occasionally, keeps hands back well and picks up spin, has good bat speed and keeps the barrel in the zone a long time, has the strength to drive the gaps,has potential at the plate. 7.17 runner, loose arm with good throwing fundamentals and footwork in the outfield, can work through the ball more aggressively. Also pitched, compact 3/4's release, fastball up to 84 mph, flashes good spin on his curveball. Nice overall athlete who should continue to improve in all areas.
