Garrett Gray is a 2015 C/1B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends George Ranch. Strong athletic build with a medium compact frame. Shows good arm strength behind the plate with a short arm action, and good catch and throw skills. Gains ground behind the plate with good lateral ability which allows him to block lots of balls for his pitcher and is a good receiver. From the right side of the plate he has a line drive swing plane with bat speed, gets good extension and is a gap to gap hitter with pop in his bat. From the left side he has an aggressive approach with bat speed and uses his lower half. Is an excellent student who is someone to follow throughout his senior year.
