Trey Cox is a 2014 RHP/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Flower Mound, TX who attends Flower Mound. Long lean build, good present strength. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot, stays tall in back, good arm side run on fastball, short arm in back. 10-4 break on curveball, good feel for changeup, lands a bit open, throws strikes, tall and fall mechanics, solid arm speed. Line drive swing plane, sweeps barrel, solid approach, drives ball back up the middle well, smooth stroke, uses lower half. Very good student.
