Javier Eguia is a 2014 RHP/1B with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from Forney, TX who attends Forney HS. Extra large frame with a strong build. Has a good mound presence with an aggressive pitching style attacking hitters and he likes to work fast. Pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short quick arm action, high leg kick delivery with good repeatable mechanics, and he fields his position well. Throws his fastball with good arm side run and showed an ability to sink it as well, has 11-5 break on his curveball, he also mixes his change-up and showed good command of his pitches. Is a excellent student who needs to be followed.
