Nolan Tressler is a 2017 OF/LHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Canton, GA who attends Woodstock HS. Strong and compact athletic build. 7.04 runner, athletic actions in the outfield, works through the ball well, good footwork with a quick release. Left handed hitter, hits from a bent knee exaggerated open stance, doesn't get closed all the way, pull only approach, has strength in his swing and very good hand quickness, handles the barrel well and makes consistent hard contact, confident hitter, would benefit from better direction to contact. Also pitched, crossfire delivery from a high 3/4's arm slot, has some deception, fastball topped out at 75 mph, very good change up with feel and location, slow curveball, had a quick and effective inning. Nice all around athlete.
