Jonathan Windham is a 2017 3B/SS with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Collins HS. Long and projectable athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. 6.79 runner, has solid defensive tools for third base, fields out front with soft hands, comes through the ball well and shows plenty of athletic balance and ability to get his feet in position to throw, ball comes out of his hand easily when throwing and gets carry. Right handed hitter, tall open stance, strides into contact from a high hand start, pretty short hand path to the ball, hits out front and looks to pull the ball, upper half rotational swing and can improve his lower half drive, gets too far out front at times, projects as a hitter with adjustments. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisiana-Lafayette.
