Robert Menendez is a 2016 2B/RHP, OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends American Senior. Medium athletic frame with present athleticism and room to fill out. Hits from wide base with high hand set, dips his back shoulder into swing some, has line drive bat path with ability to keep hands inside the baseball well. Shows ability to have good at bats and foul off tough pitches to work the count. Advanced hand-eye coordination with bat and in the field. Shows solid arm strength across the infield, topping at 79 MPH. Fields the ball deep but clean, throws from slightly lower slot and gets the ball across the diamond quickly. Shows soft hands with the ability to play the short hop very well. Very good student.
