Adan Fernandez is a 2017 OF/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends Archbishop Edward McCarthy High School. Large frame with a strong build and present strength. In the field, showed good arm strength, up to 83, and accuracy to the bases. At the plate, utilized a slightly open stance with a high hand set. Deep load at start, pull approach with strength. Swings with intent to drive the ball, natural lift in swing with a line drive plane. Has tendency to over-pull, but power potential is there with bat speed. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
