Mikal Trice is a 2016 2B/OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Jersey City, NJ who attends Hudson Catholic HS. Medium, solidly built, athletic frame with room to fill out. Ran a 5.22 40 yard dash. Makes accurate throws across the infield and shows developing arm strength. Shows good footwork and hands work well. Flashes carry on his throws from the outfield as well. Bats right-handed, works from a high hand set and a wide base. Flashes good bat speed and has a pull side approach. Has a level swing path and shows life off his barrel. Very good student.
