Dalton Blumenfeld is a 2015 C/1B/RHP with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Alexander Hamilton HS. Big strong physical build. Shows quick strong hands behind the plate receiving, quick transfers and release, tends to step open towards third base when throwing, accurate throws, 1.92 in drills, 2.00 in between innings, looks the part of the durable catcher. Right handed hitter, bent knee stance, strong upper body swing, creates bat speed with very strong hands at contact, drove the ball hard to right centerfield, ball comes off the barrel hard, has lift in his swing, swing will get long at times but has lots of present power and some hitting ability. Very good student, verbal commitment to Loyola Marymount.
