Britt Fitzgerald is a 2017 C/MIF with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Mesquite. Medium, athletic frame with solid present build/strength and good athletic projection remaining on body. Ran well, posting a 7.38 seconds 60-yard dash time. Hits from slightly open stance with good weight shift into contact, inside hand path to the ball, shows good strength and carry off the barrel, consistent hard contact to middle of the field as well as the opposite way. Very projectable offensive tools. Sets up behind the plate with good flex and side-saddle stance, shows very good arm with online carry from behind the plate, topping at 74 MPH. Compact and quick release with quality defensive actions overall. Popped as low as 2.07 seconds on throws down to second base. Very good student.
