Dayton Dugas is a 2015 OF with a 6-2 230 lb. frame from Lake Charles, LA who attends Sam Houston HS. Extra big and strong football type physique. Can really run for his size, 6.64 in the 60, compact arm action with good arm strength and carry, athletic actions in the outfield. Right handed hitter, quiet lower half with an efficient shift into contact, short swing with lots of bat speed and strength at contact, upper cut swing plane, tends to top spin the ball, ball jumps hard when squared, has big pull power at times. Maintaining his looseness will be a challenge but has lots of athletic tools.
