Cole White is a 2015 RHP with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from Barrie, ON who attends St Josephs HS. Outstanding young pitcher's build, looks stronger than listed, very projectable. Big leg raise delivery, compact arm action in back, hides the ball well, high energy release with big head jerk, falls off hard on release, repeats delivery very well despite his mechanics due to lower half stability. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, good sink when down in the zone, curveball flashed hard spin and sharpness at 72 mph, rare change up showed some promise. Around the plate with all pitches and maintained his stuff, overmatched some hitters. No cure for the effort but has deception, athleticism and a fast arm. Good student.
