Joaquin Murrieta is a 2016 C/IF, OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Windward HS. Medium frame, thin build with room to fill. Switch hitter, hits with a high back elbow and a narrow setup in the box, patient approach to game at-bats, contact approach. Short arm action on throws from behind the plate with good footwork, sound catch and throw ability with good release time. Good student.
