Steven Weisensee is a 2015 OF/MIF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Clark, NJ who attends Arthur L Johnson. Medium, athletic frame with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, charges in well on ball, works through it, dips back half on throws, short arm action with present strength, good 1st step in routes. Long release in the infield, moves well on feet with the athleticism to make the off balance play when charging in. Left-handed batter, starts with high hand set. Quick and short path to the ball, upper half swing, shows a feel for the barrel, quick hands, gets to front side early on occasion, shows some strength in swing. Very good student.
