Nick Dicarlo is a 2017 SS/RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Arcadia HS. Tall and slender athletic build with very good physical projection. Nice actions at shortstop with sound fundamentals and footwork, reads hops well and works through the ball well, has plenty of arm strength, plays with fluidity and balance over quickness. Right handed hitter, bent knee stance with a wrapped barrel start, short hand path to the ball with simple mechanics and little wasted motion, has some hand strength and quickness, will dive in occasionally and get off balance. Polished player who should continue to improve as he gets stronger. Outstanding student.
