Peter Zimmermann is a 2016 3B/RHP with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends Chaminade College Prep. Long, well-built frame with present strength as well as physical projection on body. Sets up to hit with a wide base and employs a very small, minimal stride. Rotational swing with leverage and lift, has strength in swing. Pull-field approach. Could utilize lower half more. Shows ability to hit for legitimate power. Can hit the ball very hard with strength and good bat speed. Smooth stroke overall. Worked out both in the infield and at 1B. Solid footwork during infield workout, good 3B actions, solid arm strength across the diamond with accurate throws topping at 81 MPH. Looked comfortable working out at 1B. Showed solid footwork around the bag and looked solid making the turn to throw to 2B. Very good student.
