2015 Pitcher Catcher Indoor Showcase
Foster Anshutz is a 2015 LHP with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Des Moines, IA who attends Roosevelt HS. Big and strong athletic build. Standard leg raise delivery, gets lower half turned well but under rotates coming towards the plate and releases the ball closed, high 3/4's extended arm slot, creates good angle to the plate. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, good arm side running action at times, tends to miss arm side due to under rotation in delivery. Soft curveball with occasional 1/7 depth, short slider that functions effectively as a change up. Has the physical tools to keep improving with mechanical adjustments.
