Hayden Houts is a 2015 C/RHP/1B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Owen, WI who attends Owen-Withee HS. Medium athletic build, good present strength. Left handed hitter, straight stance with a leg raise load, short line drive swing, uses his hands well to hit, could improve extension through contact, hits to all fields, aggressive approach. Received ball well in games, has a quick release on throws, 2.07 best pop time, good lower half quickness, tends to set up too far behind the hitter. Also pitched, compact arm action and a 3/4's release point, cross body release, fastball topped out at 77 mph, sweeping curveball, threw strikes with both pitches. Good student.
