Liam Moreno is a 2016 C/3B with a 6-0 186 lb. frame from Brookline, MA who attends Beaver Country Day. Large, athletic frame with a long lean frame and room to add strength on present build. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, throws from a short arm action from ear. Quick arm, strength on accurate throws down, quick transfer and release. Gains ground with lower half on throws, blocks well in game. Right-handed batter, busy load to start but shows a quick, short path to the ball. Gets hips through swing, shows bat speed with occasional lift in swing. Hard line drive contact with present pop and projects for more. Named to Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.
