Slater Fleming is a 2016 C with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Burleson, TX who attends Burleson. Medium frame, thick strong build. Hits from an open stance with a low hand set, line drive swing plane, little wasted motion with good balance. Smooth load with good separation of upper and lower halves, good bat-to-ball skills, consistent hard line drives, sound swing with good hand-eye coordination. Raw mechanics on catch and throw from behind the plate, long release, relies on raw arm strength to generate velocity on throws. Named to the National Underclass Session 3 top prospect team.
