Colton Cain is a 2009 LHP/1B with a 6'3'', 230 lb. frame from Waxahachie, TX who attends Waxahachie. Cain was not able to pitch at the event but showed his value as a position prospect. His hand work well in the infield and he showed his arm strength from first base. He is very strong at the plate with easy power. He drives the ball to the pull side and hits hard line drives. He has a nice well balanced swing and is short to the ball. He projects to hit for big power and is one to watch in the 2009 class. He is also a good student and has made a commitment to the Texas Longhorns
