Benjamin Cutting is a 2015 LHP with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Arbor View. Medium frame, long thin build with a lot of room to fill. Pitches from a three quarters arm slot with a short takeaway coming through an extended release. Online delivery, quick arm, some effort, repeats mechanics well and threw a lot of quality strikes down in the zone. Good depth on curveball with 1-7 shape, showed confidence in the pitch and used it aggressively. Attacked right handed hitters inside well, fastball features natural cutting action when located on glove side. Pitches downhill with good plane and showed fairly advanced pitchability. Good student.
