Chandellor Benton is a 2015 RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Melbourne, FL who attends Eau Gallie HS. Tall, slender, lean build that projects to add strength. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and generates natural cutting action on his fastball. Has a high leg kick that allows him to hide the ball well. Stays compact and has a repeatable arm action. Attacks hitters down in the zone and knows how to locate. Tops at 85 mph with big movement. Varies his fastball movement. Locates his 73 mph curveball consistently and flashes sharp 11-5 break. Pitches to groundball contact. Also shows conviction with his 78 mph changeup. Strikes with three pitches. Very good student.
