Conner Thurman is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Mesa, AZ who attends Red Mountain HS. Strong athletic build with good present strength. Low 3/4's to almost side arm release point, creates angle and deception in his delivery. Mid-80's fastball this outing, have seen 88=91 frequently in the past, gets heavy sinking life on his fastball and can get it to both sides of the plate. Sweeping frisbee slider is an effective pitch with good depth to get hitters reaching. Good student, verbal commitment to Arizona.
