Joseph Picillo is a 2015 OF/RHP, C, IF with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Valley Stream, NY who attends Valley Stream Central. Medium, solidly built, athletic, lean frame. Ran a 7.47 60 yard dash. Shows good life on his throws from the outfield and gets all his momentum behind it. Covers ground. Bats right-handed, works from a balanced setup and carries his hands low. Flashes good bat speed and drives the ball to his pull side. Flashes lift in his swing. Also took the mound, topped at 75 mph from a high three-quarter arm slot. Misses bats with his fastball. Shows solid 10-4 shape on his 67 mph curveball. Very good student.
