Tyler Lasch is a 2017 C/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Lake Forest, CA who attends El Toro HS. Smaller build with good lower half strength. Has good hands behind the plate and receives the ball well, good footwork, fundamentally sound in all areas, tends to throw uphill, 2.03 best pop time. Left handed hitter, wide stance with a big hanging leg lift timer, drives his lower half well and creates bat speed, line drive swing plane, makes hard contact and can drive the ball, gets extended through contact, uses his timer well and stays balanced and mostly on time, has hitting tools. Verbal commitment to Mississippi State.
