Rafael Hernandez is a 2016 C/OF with a 5-9 200 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Archbishop Carroll. Medium, strongly built frame and looks the part behind the plate. Ran a 7.60 60 yard dash. Arm strength is still developing from behind the plate, but arm works well and profiles to continuing getting better. Makes consistently on the bag throws. Shows blocking ability and sound actions. Bats right-handed, lets the ball track deep and uses the whole field. Flashes good power potential and balanced with his lower half. Has lift in swing path. Excellent student.
