Anthony Borrego is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Westminster Christian HS. Tall, strongly built, lean frame with solid athleticism. Ran a 7.38 60 yard dash. Shows a strong outfield throwing arm and makes accurate throws to home plate. Moves well and covers ground. Bats right-handed, works from a low hand set and uses his hands well. Shows good barrel control and takes an aggressive swing. Should develop more power with lower half involvement. Also took the mound, pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and shows a live 83 mph fastball. Has methodical mechanics and repeats well. Misses bats with the fastball. Very good student.
