Alex Carballo is a 2016 OF with a 5-11 184 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends Archbishop McCarthy HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength with more to come. 6.84 runner, charges hard to the ball in the outfield, big crow hop, quick arm with good carry on his throws, on line throws. Left handed hitter, big leg lift trigger, high hand start, drives off his back leg hard into contact, will drift into contact at times, aggressive swing looking to drive the ball, whippy barrel head, gap power at present with more to come with additional strength. Good student.
