Andrew Hennings is a 2016 SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Oak Park, IL who attends Oak Park & River Forest HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength with more to come. Right handed hitter, moves into contact well, short upper cut swing, comes at the ball from underneath but has strength at contact and good bat speed, high finish, creates top spin and the ball comes off the barrel hard, hitting tools to develop. 7.22 runner, third base actions defensively, long stride and long arm action throwing, has good arm strength with some carry, soft hands at the ball. Very good student.
