Brandon LaManna is a 2015 2B/RHP, IF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Smithtown, NY who attends Smithtown West. Medium, athletic frame with some room to fill out and projection. Ran a 5.40 40 yard dash. Primary second baseman, shows solid footwork in the infield, simple and easy fielding mechanics, gets on top of throws across. Shows good arm strength with carry and accuracy. Right handed batter, works from a slightly open set with quiet hands. Shows nice bat speed in his swing, contact to the middle of the field with a sound approach. Good student.
