Chase Haley is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Dickson, TN who attends Creek Wood HS. Broad shouldered medium build, plenty of room to get stronger. 6.92 runner, arm works very well in the outfield, throws have carry, will rush at times but footwork is athletic when he's in rhythm. Right handed hitter, busy load, uphill swing with a lower back side, has some strength and will flash some pull power when timed up, will need to even out his approach against higher level pitching. Also pitched, 3/4's arm slot with a compact arm action that hides the ball well, lands open with his front side. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight. Short curveball with occasional 11/5 bite, gets some fading action on his change. Very good student.
