Caleb Jeter is a 2016 OF/1B with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Alvin, TX who attends Alvin Reach HS. Strong compact athletic build. 6.94 runner, has good athletic quickness. Right handed hitter, late hand load causes some rush to start his swing, has the hand quickness and hand strength to develop as a hitter, pull to mid field contact, ball comes off his barrel pretty hard, potential is there with adjustments and time. Speed will be his best tool on defense,can go get the ball, shorter arm action and makes accurate on line throws with some arm strength. Good student. Plays hard and likes playing the game.
