Matthew Myers is a 2017 RHP/1B with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Jackson, MS who attends Jackson Prep. Thick physically mature build, very strong overall. Online delivery with a quick and compact arm, has effort at release and some dip when he hits his landing point, high 3/4's arm slot and generates some plane. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, mostly straight. Curveball has hard and tight spin with some sweeping depth to it. Did not observe a change up. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance, upper body long and strong swing, hits off his back side with plenty of pull lift in his approach. Good student, verbal commitment to Mississippi.
