Austin Brown is a 2018 OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Oak Ridge HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Runs very well, 6.78 in the sixty, shows his athleticism on defense, nice front side mechanics throwing, good footwork and clean actions, loose and long arm action and gets on top of his throws, projectable arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with limited shift into contact, stays over his back side, short rotational swing with mid field contact and a line drive swing plane. Good student.
