Trevor Evans is a 2008 C/3B with a 5'9'', 168 lb. frame from Plain City, UT, who attends FHS. Evans has a medium frame with athleticism in his body. Defensively he has position flexibility being able to play behind the plate and at the hot corner. He has arm strength and quickness that allows him to handle each position. Evans has quickness behind the plate, and he shows nice actions in the infield as well. He has a quick release with an accurate arm. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a crouched stance with a wider base. Evans shows bat speed through the hitting zone, and he has nice hands with the ability to make adjustments. He centers the ball well, and he can hit to all fields. Evans has a good awareness of the strikes zone and he doesn't swing at bad pitches. He is a contact hitter, but he does show some pop when he turns on the ball. Evans has upside, and he is a very good student as well.
