Lyndon Weaver is a 2018 SS/3B/2B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Grady HS. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, had additional room to fill throughout. Full of fast-twitch muscle, outstanding runner and posted a 6.67 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, hands play well out front at ball, quick footwork with overall actions that will continue to develop, upright release, accurate throws across the diamond, shorter arm action with strength projects. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a high back elbow in the box. Square stance with a high leg lift trigger, mostly upper body involved in swing but does a nice job of creating extension and hitting the ball out front. Easy swing with whip to head of barrel through zone. Physical strength plays well in swing, very simple mechanics that are repeated well, nice present jump off the barrel when square and projects for more with additional lower half incorporated into swing. Good student.
