Zachary Gottfried is a 2016 MIF/3B/RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Palm City, FL who attends Jensen Beach HS. Gottfried has a smaller frame with a stocky build. Defensively, he has developing arm strength with velocity up to 72 MPH. He moves to the ball well with developing infield actions. Gottfried profiles best at 2B defensively. At the plate, he starts with a high hand set and uses a deep load to start his swing. Gottfried gets some extension in his swing and looks to pull the ball. He attacks the ball and has developing bat speed. Gottfried pitches from an overhand arm slot with an online delivery. He pitches to contact and located his fastball well. Excellent student.
