Aaron Bennett is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-3 150 lb. frame from Helen, GA who attends White County HS. Long and slender young build, minimal present strength, lots of room to get stronger. Very busy multi-part delivery, has some deception but is also difficult to repeat, has a fluid and loose arm, low 3/4's to occasionally sidearm release point, will open front side early on release at times. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 77 mph, good fastball life to his arm side, arm works well from this slot and suits him physically. Slider is an effective pitch, gets good slurve type depth at lower velocities but tends to straight out at higher velocities. Did not show feel for knuckleball this outing. Switch-hitter, similar approach both sides, has good feel fro the barrel from a straight stance, short swing with tight hands, soft mid field contact. Getting stronger and simplifying his delivery will be key. Good student.
