Ben Jordan is a 2017 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-8 200 lb. frame from Olive Hill, KY who attends West Carter County. Extra tall, gangly frame. A picture of projection. Good athlete and well coordinated for height and age. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and uses his height to generate downhill plane. Has a long arm circle in the back and will learn to repeat well. Stays on top of his fastball and has above average life at 85-89 mph. Projects for more velocity and command down the road. Flashes sharp 11-5 rotation on his 73 mph curveball. Potential is there to be an above average offering. Highest level pitching prospect. Also swung the bat, squared the ball consistently and hits to the middle of the field with a line drive, fluid swing. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
