Alekzander Brown is a 2017 1B/3B with a 6-4 250 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends Frisco HS. Brown has a large frame with a thick strong build. Defensively he showed balanced actions at 1B and was very light on his feet for a kid his size. Brown moves well around the bag and showed soft hands and the ability to pick it. At the plate he stars with a slightly open stance with a hands back load. He has good balance and strength in his swing. Brown has good leverage and he has a rotational swing. He showed some bat speed and the ball really jumps off his bat when he squares it up. He showed good pop with more power potential.
