Cameron Masterman is a 2017 SS/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Prospect, KY who attends North Oldham HS. Nice athletic build for his age, lots of room to add strength. 7.12 runner, moves very well on defense, works through the ball, good hands, accurate throws, developing arm strength, projects well defensively. Right handed hitter, sound approach from a narrow stance, short hand path to the ball, has quick hands and just enough strength for some bat speed, pull line drive contact, could extend better out front. Good baserunner with speed and instincts. Very projectable young player, follow closely. Very good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team from this showcase.
