Jarrod (Jarred) Jones is a 2014 RHP/ with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Nicholasville, KY who attends East Jessamine. Medium, athletic frame, with room to fill out and get stronger. Ran a 7.18 60 yard dash. Right handed pitcher who throws from a high three quarter arm slot. Clean arm action, stays on top of ball and follows through on all pitches. Very good command and attacks strike zone. Fastball up to 86 mph with late arm side run. More velocity to come. Featured an 11/5 curveball which had occasional 12/6 break and showed a nice feel for his 76 mph slider. Smart player who know how to pitch. Named to Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
