Chris Mathieu is a 2015 OF/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Gurnee, IL who attends Warren HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Very good runner, 6.63 in the sixty, moves to the ball well in the outfield, can improve footwork throwing, has some arm strength and makes on line accurate throws. Right handed hitter, short quick line drive swing, swings hard and the ball comes off hard when squared, showed his opposite field power in games, simple approach that should enable him to keep improving.
