Zak Sinclair is a 2008 RHP with a 6'4'', 220 lb. frame from McDonald, PA who attends West Allegheny HS. He has a big, tall and pretty mature frame with very good present strength. Sinclair's frame might even hold more strength in the future. He throws from a tall, online delivery with a compact arm action that hides the ball well and maintains a good downward angle. Sinclair repeated his delivery well and threw strikes. His fastball was 88-91 mph and had some sink and arm side run on occasion. He got two different types of break on his curveball, a big downer bite in the low 70's and a sharper, crisper slider type break in the mid 70's. The latter was the more effective pitch. Sinclair is a good overall athlete who has shown hitting skills in the past.
