Griffin Zamora is a 2019 SS/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 158 lb. frame from La Mesa, CA who attends Helix. Zamora has a medium sized frame with an athletic projectable build. Defensively he showed good actions on the infield and plays through the baseball well. He has loose hips and showed range to both sides. Zamora has a quick transfer and release with developing arm strength up to 76 MPH. At the plate he starts with an upright open stance with a high back elbow. He uses a big leg lift trigger and generates a lot of momentum with his hips. He looks to elevate the baseball and has good bat speed. Zamora swings with intent and looks to do damage at the plate. He showed good hitting tools with a chance to develop well. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long arm circle in back. He threw 3 pitches for strikes and threw an 11/5 curve ball with some depth to it. Excellent student.
